Arches National Park is full of one amazing thing after another. And even though it has a plethora of incredible arches, it also has a series of other wild things to marvel at, such as Balance Rock.
I knew I wanted to spend sometime at this location, but I couldn’t fit it in any of the golden hours during my visit, so it was a flex type spot. And during one afternoon, when a storm was rolling into the area, many big puffy clouds were moving across the sky at a pretty fast rate, so I thought, lets get to Balance Rock to capture some long exposures to create some nice motion in the sky. I slapped on my 10-stop filter and was able to get my settings to 30-second exposures.
