Frozen Waterfall Window

Frozen waterfalls have a mysterious and wondrous vibe to them, as they always make me feel like I’m in a fairytale or standing on a movie set. 
On this particular day, this visual wonder of water rushing under a shelf of ice, with massive icicles clinging to the sides of the falls, created a beautiful and calming winter wonderland. The freezing temperatures numbed my nose and cheeks, as my eyes burned with excitement and desire to photograph this incredible scene. I carefully shuffled onto the frozen river, quickly set up my tripod and began snapping long exposures, only mere feet from the rushing water and frozen waterfall window above.
