Half Dome Morning Light (Yosemite N.P.)

When I was younger, I read a ton about Yosemite National Park when researching and studying Ansel Adams and his work. And when I finally visited the park as a young adult, I fell in love with the area instantly. It’s a location I continue to go back to from time to time to soak up nature and photograph the beauty that surrounds me. 
This image is along the Merced River, whose slow, flowing water lends itself to a perfect foreground when photographing Half Dome above. On this crisp, autumn morning the suns rays shine bright down the water to illuminate the foliage along the rivers banks.
