Tree In Winter Snow Storm

Winter is officially upon us, so I share with you one of my favorite winter scenes that I captured several years back. 
It was during the morning hours of a heavy snowstorm that had been raging all night. I grabbed my gear and walked to Patterson Park in Baltimore city and headed over to a large, stand alone tree that I'd scouted before and wanted to check out. The moment I saw the scene in front of me, I envisioned the final edit as black and white. … Thus matching the bitter cold and blustery snow that surrounded me with a scene of simplicity and starkness.
